As a Lead Development Rep (SDR), you’ll play a key role in generating high-quality Sales Accepted Leads (SALs). You’ll be part of Trimble’s sales and marketing department and will be responsible for identifying and nurturing potential customers and converting them into fully qualified sales opportunities for the Business Development team, so they can take action and ultimately generate revenue.
What you’ll be doing:
- Use the phone, email, LinkedIn, and other media to effectively connect with potential customers.
- Develop and manage customer relationships and collaborate with various levels within an organization to demonstrate the business value of our company’s products and services.
- Follow the clearly defined sales process to maximize all opportunities. Accurately record and update all data in the CRM software (Salesforce).
Useful Skills and Experience
- Experience generating leads across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful, but not essential.
- Experience updating CRM software, such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey important messages to various stakeholders.
- Ability to present a product in an effective, professional manner.
Strong customer focus and commitment to providing timely, high-quality solutions to customer issues.
- Ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of expertise in division-specific software products and to stay up to date on product knowledge.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to listen effectively, convey information accurately and clearly, and actively seek feedback. The ability to effectively present and explain information to groups of varying sizes and with different levels of knowledge.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, and review one’s own work to ensure quality; present numerical data effectively; and be able to read and interpret written information.
