We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager for our Construction Division at Trimble in Belgium. In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Director for the Benelux.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Key Account Manager, you play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding strategic relationships with our enterprise clients—such as VolkerWessels, Cordeel, Arcadis, etc.—in the construction industry.

Your main responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the construction industry.
  • Understand customers’ business objectives, challenges, and pain points in order to provide tailored solutions and sell the Trimble Connected Construction workflow.

Strategic Account Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Trimble products and services, and ensure that Trimble products are well-positioned within the customer’s organization.

Product Knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of Trimble’s construction technology products and their applications.
  • Be able to effectively communicate the value of our cloud solutions for the construction industry (such as Viewpoint, Trimble Connect, Stabicad, etc.) to customers.

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets for assigned accounts, as well as identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and closing deals.
  • Seeking to drive adoption and growth among new customers.

Market Analysis

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offers.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams to further improve Trimble’s products and services.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in Salesforce.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance and sales forecasts.

What to Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in account management / key account management.
  • A good understanding of the construction industry and experience with construction software solutions is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of technology and software solutions.
  • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary to meet with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Your preferred location is our office in Antwerp, but we are also open to other locations in Belgium.
