As a work planner, you’ll play a key role in both the preparation and execution of our hydraulic engineering projects. As the first work planner based in Ridderkerk, you’ll help drive the growth of Beens Group in the southwestern Netherlands. In addition to liaising with colleagues throughout the Beens Group, you’ll primarily work closely with the team in Ridderkerk, which consists of a branch manager, a project manager, and a site supervisor. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting price and quality comparisons and preparing a purchasing overview;
- Preparing work plans and working drawings;
- Provide the contractor with technical specifications;
- Contribute to cost control.
Job Requirements
You excel at planning and organizing while keeping an eye on technical feasibility. With this knowledge, you’re able to identify opportunities and risks. You like to take the initiative, but you also make sure your team is kept in the loop. What else we expect from you:
- HBO or, at a minimum, MBO+ level of work and thinking in civil engineering or a comparable field;
- A few years of relevant experience, but even if you’re an eager-to-learn entry-level candidate, you’re welcome to apply;
- Knowledge and experience with calculation and/or drafting software is a plus.
